- What are the benefits of setting up a subscription?
Setting up a subscription is the most convenient way for you to get your favorite products delivered to you automatically. You can set up the frequency for each order and can make changes online whenever you need.
You will receive the below benefits on your next order after setting up the subscription.
- Subscriber-only benefits – g. exclusive discounts and lower shipping thresholds
- Flexibility – you can add to or remove items from your subscription order (we will send you an email reminder to ensure you don’t forget).
- Points – Our Love Your Body Club members will receive points on all orders.
- How do I set up a subscription and what happens after?
Signing up for a subscription order is easy; it can be done while browsing on a product page or while reviewing items in your cart. To subscribe:
- Select ‘Add to subscription’ for an eligible product
- Set up your chosen delivery frequency for the subscription order
- Proceed to checkout
You will require a The Body Shop account to set up and manage your subscriptions.
After you set up a subscription, you will receive an order confirmation email.
This email will include a link to access ‘My Account’ where you can manage your active subscriptions, subscription order items, and subscription order account information.
We will place your subscription orders automatically with your chosen frequency, and you will receive an email in advance of your order being processed.
You will also receive emails about other information related to your Subscription Order account, such as if your item is no longer being sold or out of stock, if you cancel your subscription, and confirmation when an order is placed successfully.
- How can I amend my subscription order or skip a delivery?
- Log in to your Account and click on ‘My Subscriptions’.
- Select the subscription order that you would like to amend.
- You can then edit the subscription frequency, quantity, remove products, amend dispatch date, cancel your subscription and update your payment and billing details.
Please note that shipping address cannot be changed once a subscription has been created. To change this, you will have to cancel your existing subscription and set up a new one.
You cannot add products to an existing subscription and will need to create a new subscription.
- How can I cancel my subscription?
- Log in to your Account and click on ‘My Subscriptions’.
- Click on the subscription order that you would like to cancel.
- Under subscription details, select ‘Cancel subscription’.
Once cancelled, you will receive an email to confirm that your subscription has been cancelled. Your cancellation will take effect immediately. Please be aware that you may already have an order in process, and cancellation will only effect unprocessed orders.
- Can I use my Love Your Body Club voucher as payment towards my subscription order?
You can use your Love Your Body Club voucher as payment on your first order which you place through the regular checkout process. Subsequent subscription orders which are automatically dispatched will need a valid debit/credit card as a payment method and vouchers cannot be used for these orders.
- Can I return products ordered as part of a subscription?
Yes, our online returns policy applies to all subscription orders.
- Can I change the frequency of my subscribed products?
Yes, you can amend the frequency for a subscription order.
- Log in to your Account and click on ‘Subscriptions’.
- Select the subscription order that you would like to amend.
- Select the desired frequency from the dropdown.
Please note you cannot change the frequency for specific products within a subscription order. Any updates made to frequency apply for all products within a subscription order.
- I want to update the delivery address of my subscription. What are the steps?
Delivery/shipping address cannot be changed once a subscription has been created. To change this, you will have to cancel your existing subscription and set up a new one.
- Can I set up a subscription without creating an account?
No, you require a The Body Shop account to use our Subscription service. Your account will be used to help you manage details related to your subscription such as frequency, dispatch date and payment details. You can easily set up an account from the registration page.
- What happens if one or more products from my subscription are out of stock?
When your subscription is due, if one or more product is out of stock, we will only send and charge for products that are in stock. If your subscription order total was eligible for free delivery, this will still hold true even if a product is out of stock.
- Will I be notified before my subscription order is dispatched?
Every time your subscription is due, we will send an email in advance of your order being processed.
If you need to make changes to your upcoming subscription prior to dispatch, you can manage this by logging in to your Account and selecting ‘My Subscriptions’. This must be done before the next due date for the order.
- Why was my subscription cancelled?
If your upcoming subscription order contains one or more product that has been discontinued, then we will cancel your subscription and let you know. You can set up a new subscription with other available products.
- Why is there a delivery charge added to my subscription order?
Every subscription order has a delivery threshold for free delivery. If your order is below this threshold or amended to bring the value under this threshold, then delivery will be charged. We will always deliver using the cheapest delivery method, which will cost the same as advertised on our website.
- I forgot to cancel my subscription and my order has been dispatched. What can I do?
We are unable to cancel a subscription order after it has been dispatched. However, you can choose to return the products in your order as per our Online Return Policy.
- Can I set up a different subscription frequency per product?
Our subscription feature currently allows only one frequency per subscription order. If you’d like to receive products at different frequencies, you can set up a new subscription order for these products.
- Will I receive Love Your Body Club points with my subscription order?
Yes, you can collect Love Your Body Club points with your subscription order.
- Can I use Collect in Store for my subscription order?
Currently it’s not possible to collect your subscription order in store. All subscription orders are delivered using our home delivery option.
